Teeth whitening is a quick and simple aesthetic treatment, but it can make a world of difference on your appearance
It is inevitable that your teeth will become stained and discoloured over time. This process can be especially expedited through lifestyle choices that contribute to staining your teeth.
Why do teeth get discoloured?
There are many factors and daily habits that contribute to teeth staining. Here are the reasons why your teeth might be discoloured:
- Pigmented foods and drinks – coffee, wine, tea, soft drinks, berries, chocolate, and tomato-based sauces are a few of many
- Smoking
- Poor dental care
- Medications – Certain antibiotics and medications can discolour your teeth
- Diseases – Some diseases can prevent proper enamel development
- Ageing – The natural ageing process deteriorates the enamel, creating a yellow colour
Why choose professional teeth whitening
A professional teeth whitening treatment is clinically proven to be completely safe but contains a higher concentration of whitening agent than any other available DIY whitening kits. This means that our professional whitening treatments are more effective and offer immediate results.
At your cosmetic dentist North Sydney, we offer teeth whitening in a safe and professional environment where we can practice our meticulous techniques that protect your gums and successfully whiten your teeth. We are able to whiten your teeth up to 8 shades whiter, but our expert dentists will work with you to determine the perfect shade to enhance and suit your aesthetics.
